Black Vinyl Records has promoted some of the best underground house parties around and continues to be involved in the quality end of the club scene via label founder and DJ, Alan Russell.

Our Soul Movement club ran for four years at London¹s Clinic club and
attracted some of the best DJ_s in the business. Kerri Chandler, Miguel
Migs, DJ Spen and, Lenny Fontana where just some of the names who joined resident Alan Russell and shared the experience of this unique underground club night. Following the closure of The Clinic we promoted several boat parties and private events in London and have also been involved in some great events in many different countries. Soul Movement is now running as a monthly party in Cologne where Alan makes regular guest appearances, the most recent in April 2006. See www.henrikohn.de for more info

In addition to a long history of playing in some of the finest clubs and
parties in the UK, Alan Russell has been DJ_ing throughout the world for
over fifteen years. In Europe he has played under the Black Vinyl banner in
France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia,
Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Norway and in particular in Italy were he has played over 100 times.

Alan has played several times in the USA, in particular in San Francisco
where he has toured four times and he has also spun in Seattle, Chicago,
Atlanta, New York and Miami.
